My background
I started sewing at the age of 12 under the guidance of my mum who is also a seamstress and tailor. From small items sold in craft fairs to making my first flowergirl dress for a friend at the age of 17, I have always been into sewing and creating. I obtained my first employment in a Bridal store as a seamstress at the age of 19 and the rest the say is history. I have worn many other 'hats' in my 30 years in employment but have always come back to creating and sewing. I had my own Bridal store and my own Bridal label designing dresses for 10 years. These days I have another passion working as special needs educational co-ordinate and therapist but still sew. I work from home and can keep my prices as reasonable as possible due to this.
